Time is one of our most precious commodities and if you chose to spend yours with me, I will be grateful to share it.

About Me

My background includes providing counseling and clinical supervision at various levels of care including residential, inpatient, partial, and outpatient since 2001.

I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment, so I use an eclectic approach of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Art and Play therapies in addition to motivational interviewing and parent training.

I believe that mindfulness and self-care have a significant impact on improving health and wellness which I incorporate into the healing process. I work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and with various challenges including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, low self-confidence, relationship challenges, grief & loss, difficult life transitions, and trauma.

I obtained my master’s degree in Art Therapy through Drexel University and post-master's in Counseling Psychology at Rosemont College. I’ve been licensed as a Professional Counselor in PA since 2007. In addition to working in private practice, I currently am a school counselor for a local school district.

What Clients Are Saying…

"A couple of years ago I was searching for counselors for my daughters to help them process our family's new divorce. From the moment that Alexis answered my call, I knew that Evergreen was going to provide us with the best support through this major life change. Both Alexis and Amanda walked me through the intake and billing process with ease and made me feel like our satisfaction and comfort were their number one priority. Meredith took the time to listen without judgment, validate their feelings, as well as offer sound suggestions and strategies for working through their stress and anxieties. Meredith has made even virtual sessions feel comfortable and warm--a place where my daughters can vent, cry, express frustrations and disappointments, and then leave feeling empowered and ready to take on the world. As a mom, I couldn't ask for anything more valuable for my daughters. If you're looking for a counseling home for you or someone in your family, Evergreen just might be the place for you, too." - Grateful Mom

“Empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of ‘YOU’RE NOT ALONE’.” - Brené Brown
