As a therapist, I consider my role in your life as a unique one. I deeply care about the strong collaborative relationship I will establish with you in therapy that includes mutual respect and trust. I hold deep appreciation in joining you in your journey toward healing, recovery, and wellness.
About Me
My background includes providing counseling and clinical supervision at various levels of care including residential, inpatient, partial, and outpatient since 2001.
I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment, so I use an eclectic approach of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Art and Play therapies in addition to motivational interviewing and parent training.
I believe that mindfulness and self-care have a significant impact on improving health and wellness which I incorporate into the healing process. I work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and with various challenges including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, low self-confidence, relationship challenges, grief & loss, difficult life transitions, and trauma.
I obtained my master’s degree in Art Therapy through Drexel University and post-master's in Counseling Psychology at Rosemont College. I’ve been licensed as a Professional Counselor in PA since 2007. In addition to working in private practice, I currently am a school counselor for a local school district.

What Clients Are Saying…
“Since working with Shana, as a family, we have watched our child improve and learn to recognize their "worry brain" versus their "thinking brain." Shana has been wonderful about communicating with us and helping us navigate any and all issues that have come up along the way. She is very gentle and calming and our child feels so comfortable with her.” - Kim V.
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do, and mostly Live.” - Dalai Lama XIV
